Meet the Management Team

Cale founded CPI Communications in 1997. He began establishing a successful telecom career over 20 years ago in direct and indirect sales. Cale spent several years at Telecom*USA / MCI, leaving in 1994 to pursue interest in the agent channel. Cale is responsible for the overall strategic direction of CPI and creating a culture where top sales professionals can focus on core business drivers.
Jeff Drummond joined CPI in 2015 with more than 20 years of IT experience. Jeff co-founded Baker Communications, which was later acquired by Iowa Telecom and then by Windstream Communications Nationwide. His unmatched credentials include attainment of the highest certifications available from Cisco, Microsoft and Nortel, as well as more than 20 IT industry certifications.
VP of Sales
Chuck has been in telecommunications for over 30 years, including leadership roles with MCI, Executone, and Net2000. Over the past 20 years, he has held various leadership roles with Windstream Communication, including VP of the Mid-Atlantic Region, VP of Solution Engineering, and most recently he was the VP over the Advanced Cloud and Hospitality Teams. In that role, he led the mission to move their UC and Hospitality businesses to the Cloud.
Director of Operations
Peter has over 30 years of operations and engineering experience in Telecommunications, broadcasting and cable television. Most recently Peter held positions as Director of Operations & Engineering and Director of Corporate Business during his 20 years at Aureon. In these roles, he focused on the deployment of fiber optic networks, IP network capacity growth and the deployment of leading edge products and services.
Ronda joined our team in 2005. She brought PROCESS PRO experience from John Deere Credit, where she completed Six Sigma training. Ronda has implemented a software program to gather, track and monitor information from the quoting stage through the commissioning life cycle. Ronda is responsible for monitoring commissions, commission disputes and software training.
CDO (Chief Dog Officer)
My name is Toby Perry and I am the CDO (Chief Dog Officer) of cpITelecom. I enjoy treats and meeting customers. I began my position with CPI in June of 2015. My duties include (but are not limited to) accepting treats from the FedEx Man, sniffing out potential new employees and promoting morale.
VP of Managed Services
Tim has been in IT since 1987 in design, support, and leadership roles. I have worn many hats during my career to help organizations implement new technologies, and new process’ to gain efficiencies that effectively help them support their business and client needs. I helped start a technology mentoring program in the local school system to help give back to the community. I started as a unix/linux engineer and have held positions from Team lead to Manager to VP. I love a good challenge, and helping people and companies grow
